Notice of Written Examination Borough of Telford The Borough of Telford announces that it is beginning the process for hiring two full-time police officers. Application and other forms required to be completed in order to apply for the position of full-time police officer are available at the Borough of Telford, 50 Penn Avenue, Telford, PA 18969. The Borough of Telford is open from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. You may also request an application via apps@telfordpd.org. Please call 215-723-5000 if you have any questions. Completed applications MUST be turned in to the borough office during normal business hours or by email to apps@telfordpd.org by 5:00 p.m. on March 6, 2026. A physical agility test and written examination will be held on March 16, 2026. The physical agility test will begin at 1:00 p.m. and the written examination at 3:00 p.m. Another mandatory component of the process is an oral examination, testing date to be announced following the written and physical examinations. In addition, candidates who are one of the top three names certified will be subject to a background check, including a polygraph examination, medical, and psychological examinations. A copy of the Borough of Telfords hiring policy, as set forth in the Civil Service Rules & Regulations, is available for inspection during regular business hours.
